Characteristic of the representation of the everyday life in the Minoan frescoes was also the depicting of the Minoans, men and women. From these frescoes conclusions are drawn about the clothing, the hair styles and beautification of the Minoans, especially of the women, who used make up techniques and gave a lot attention to the beauty of their face as well as their clothing. In this fresco we can see the highlighted eyes and the red-painted lips, the typical hairstyle and the beginning of a beautiful dress. In particular, this painting probably represents a priestess, rather than an ordinary woman, because of the sacral knot at the back of the head, but it still exudes the Minoan style.
